MY Hostels Mirissa is convenient to budget and back-pack travellers. It has a lobby and dining area common room with a homely and warm atmosphere and friendly staff. It has 4 double rooms, A/C and non A/C, with attached wash rooms. Female and mixed dorms with Bunk beds are also available for back-packers with individual lockers. Linen and towels are provided. Meals and laundry services are provided on request and fully equipped communal kitchen is at hand. Fast WiFi connection is available and power points for charging personal electronic equipment are available.


MY Hostels Mirissa, is located close to the Southern tip of the Island of Sri Lanka and close to the equator. Mirissa is a small beach town and a fishing port. Its breathtaking sandy beach is a popular resort for tourists. The secluded beach is ideal to sit back, relax and watch the stunning sunsets and sunrises. An early morning dip in the sea is refreshing. It is safe and you can walk into the water for about 20 meters before the water is waist deep unlike other beaches further South. It is popular for snorkellers and surfers. An excursion to the deeper parts of the sea enables the watching varieties of magnificent whales and schools of dolphins.

Heading towards Matara from Colombo passing the Mirissa Harbor road get off at 2nd bus stop, just opposite the bus stop you find Sunanda Road, walk down Sunanda road for 60 meters you find MY Hostels Mirissa.
